Heavenspawn

People with heavenly blood flowing through them are known as Heavenspawns, and they are revered in all societies as gifts from the heavens, destined for greatness. Even the weakest Heavenspawns are leagues ahead of that of an average human. For some strange reason, Heavenspawn could not handle spicy foods, their tolerance is incredibly low. They have the ability to perceive music as visual stimuli, in the form of colors and light, this unique perspective gives them an edge as musicians. Heavenspawn tears also glow. On the off-chance a true sighter were to view a Heavenspawn, they'd see a faint halo of the Heavenspawn's linage. Within the slave market Heavenspawn are highly coveted and extremely expensive, with their prices starting at 2 Mythril medals, which is equivalent to two decently sized farms.

Heavenspawn have a few distinguishing features that sets them apart from an ordinary human. They have uniquely colored hair that will glow, and they often have eyes that commonly glow yellow as well. Heavenspawn are generally taller than most humans though exceptions have occurred. They also tend to occasionally have cracked skin with a radiant gold flowing out as if their body is barely containing their divine essence. While few also have been seen with wings or halos. The features a heavenspawn possesses is dependent on which Fundamental they spawned from, a Heavenspawn with Pride's blood would often be yellow in color while Lust's instead would often be pink. They tend to be unnaturally beautiful, thus irresistible. Their personalities are often reflections of the Fundamental they descended from. Heavenspawn with high divine blood, like that of a direct descendant of a demigod tend to have a form showing pieces of the god's divine form in a monstrous mix of man and god.

Offspring between that of another race other than humans would result in a heavenspawn with potentially a few traits from the other race. With offspring of hellspawns and heavenspawns instead leading to the birth of monsters or beings with latent abilities stemming from the Age of Myth itself. However they are volatile as well as their existence highly disliked, causing them to usually be killed off.

Societal Impact

Heavenspawns could occur randomly within human birth, or kept within a contained and carefully maintained dynasty of Heavenspawn Family, which makes them prone to inbreeding, desiring their lineage to remain 'pure'. To have the blood of the fundamentals course through one immediately makes them 'better' than others in the eyes of the people and often themselves. Everyone will want to be with them, or be them, as they will find themselves rising easily to the ranks of nobility or any hierarchy. Almost all Heavenspawn are magically sensitive, and they are typically raised in a cloister to become Fundamentals clerics at a young age. Rarely do they become wizards, as many Heavenspawn would rather study under a cleric than a mage due to Heavenspawns tending to lean into their natural talents of sorcery, and their otherworldly presence, with only a very low amount of Heavenspawn unable to do so. They must be able to defend themselves because many would seek them out to steal their divine blood, which is a necessary component for making potions with greater potency.

Heavenspawn Blood

Used in the creation for more potent potions and elixirs, the flesh of a Heavenspawn works just as well. It is widely believed that consuming heavenspawn blood might increase one's chance to birth a heavenspawn themselves, though there is yet to be concrete evidences of that belief. This blood is extremely tasty to Vampires, tasting like that of the most divine nectar.
