Pride

"Whimpers are for rats, roar like a lion!"

Pride is the concept of self-worth and love of oneself. Pride supports the idea that everyone matters and that what you bring unto the world as well as your actions leaves some lasting impact on everyone around you, molding reality into your image. As such, Pride became a deity of strength as well as craftsmanship, for one should always take pride in their good work. Pride takes the form of a large man with a glorious golden mane befitting that of the most regal of lions. His body is covered in scars, but none upon his back, for a scar inflicted there is a warrior's greatest shame. His arms represent both strength and craftsmanship and the ability to mold the world as one pleases. His weapon of choice is that of a hammer, the favored tool of craftsmen.

Pride wishes to shine as brightly as the sun, and though he may sometimes fail to do so, he grins with pride regardless knowing that he too has shined as brightly, even if only for a moment. Pride is boisterous, and loves fun; he often can be seen partaking in great festivals, enjoying the festivities and speaking to those that garner his interest.

Blessings

Pride favors artisans who have created wonderful works of art, as well as warriors with a strong sense of honor and worth. His followers tend to form craftsmen guilds, or warrior bands that either protect the realm or menace it. Warriors pledged to Pride often take Honor Quests in which the warrior will challenge other worthy foes to prove themselves superior.

Pride's blessing is unknown, all of his Chosen Knights are too prideful to use his blessing or accept his help. Regardless of using his blessings or not, his Chosen Knights are immensely effective at their duties and are considered some of the finest within The Round Table. Creation is inherently magical, and Pride’s influence is often at play when someone creates what they consider their magnum opus. A dish could increase one's haste, a sword may be able to cut things it should by all metrics be unable too. Only a select few know of this truth within the Familiar Lands.

Domain of Pride

Pride's Domain is the power of the sun, imbuing the user with the flames of its infinite radiance. These flames can temper weapons and aid in creating masterwork equipment, though that is merely rumored, for it may be that a few craftsmen are simply that good at their craft. Pride worshippers also tend to exert a particularly powerful aura.
