Orcs

One of the strongest species within the Familiar Lands, able to go toe to toe with Owlrillas or Exalted Enforcer in sheer strength. Orcs gain their strength mostly from consuming mass. Orcs can be found anywhere, however the vast majority of them live within the Great Steppes of Mongori where they are the dominant race. Orcs often die young, but have been able to live to up to 200 years old in rare cases. The strongest orc within the tribe, regardless of gender, will become the chief of the clan, the Khatan or Khan. After Genghis Khan's rule, and death; an on-sight culling of orcs by the Golden Inquisition arose, with the survivors going through a reformation, now current orcs pray to Pride and Gluttony while few still pray to Unity and await in the return of Genghis-Khan.

Within Orc culture, reliability is the utmost importance, with strength being the only thing remotely as revered. As those who provide will prevail. One able to raise many llamas or shoot down a dragon will always be more popular than someone else who is more pretty or with silver tongue. This in turn led to times where shepherds from Great Europa have been courted by orc women due to their herds of sheep having a total of over 100 sheep in it. For marriage proposals, an orc must present an extensive dowry to their partner, dragon scales being an excellent gift. Old orc women are seen with reverence and great respect, and will often become the matriarchs, advisors, and soothsayers of orc tribes. However being old as an orc male is seen with shame, as they didn't die in the glory of battle, with even one that was unable to be bested in combat seen with a hint of humor, as a warrior only time could beat. For those that reach a certain age, or feel their strength begin to waver, they'll seek out worthy opponents and battle to the death with them. The loss of an arm is seen with heavy shame, as it means the orc cannot shoot a bow, however in reality most of them could still overpower most foes from sheer force alone.

Grey Orcs

An uncommon type of orc possessing innate magical potential and capabilities.

Red Orcs

The rarest type of known orc, possessing strength significantly above than that of other orcs. With on-sight culling of red orcs unlike other kinds still enforced by the Inquisition.
