Exalted

There are fewer forces more terrifying and more powerful than the Authority decreed Inquisition aptly named the Golden Inquisition. Among their ranks are exceptional humans granted the blessing of Authority and serve as his righteous soldiers of justice. Exalted are the elite Oathsworn of the Inquisition and by extension, they also serve as an extension of Avalon's will. They must pass grueling training and an incredibly dangerous trial which has around 60% casualty rate. Those who become exalted are granted great boons and purpose.

Only humans make up the ranks of Exalted for only humans are capable of receiving and subsequently absorbing the diluted blood of Authority within them. Their bodies would struggle to contain his divine strength, but through several rites and procedures one could become stronger, faster, and smarter. Once a person becomes Exalted, they would be separated by their talents and disposition, they would undergo specialized training and eventually will be assigned to the ranks of either Enforcer, Occuli or Executor each performing a different role to serve the Inquisition's goals. The Exalted are worth at least 5 or 6 crown seals. They are usually specially trained from a young age to serve the Inquisition. Exalted armor are laced with Avalicite, making them quite resistant to magical attacks thanks to the ore's unique properties.

Executors

Executors are a unique case of Exalted, where they undergo specialized training with a Humility cult within the church's ranks. They are trained in the art of assassination, espionage and subterfuge. With Humility's teachings they are usually more distant to Authority, and follow her teachings primarily; they would devote themselves to the dark lady and become the boogeymen of the Familiar Lands.

Executors forsake their birth name upon donning the hood, they must be the symbol of humility, ridding themselves of their former identity completely. Executors are known for their psychological warfare, destroying the morale of their opponents before striking swift and true. Their ranks are composed of hardened veterans or outright psychopaths to handle the mental burden of their duties.

Occuli

Mages that underwent the Exaltation process would be placed within the Occuli division, then would undergo intense training within a specialized magical academy where they would be taught exclusive spells and rituals to counter most unfamiliar threats. Occuli are the most vulnerable to corruption due to being a mage and therefore require more extensive training before joining the ranks of the Occuli. The Occuli also act as investigators and scholars, always trying to crack the mysteries of the Unfamiliar Lands and find ways to be ahead of them in every way.
