Avalicite
Materials
Avalicite boasts anti-magical properties which The Golden Inquisition has a monopoly on its collection and distribution though some raw avalicite could be found within the black markets at a premium.
From the far lands of the Hand of Avalon, if forged into armor it allows one to resist spells to some degree and if forged into a weapon allows one to pierce through barriers and spells. Because of that it's highly valued amongst the Golden Inquisition who have a monopoly on its collection and distribution. Apart from connections in the black market, you have very little chance to find it unless taking it directly from the inquisition or witch hunters, one way or another. Used for the hunt of cultists and unfamiliars, it can be found on the equipment of almost any inquisitor or Exalted on the field. They are often granted avalicite shackles that almost completely prevent magic from being cast.
Though brittle on its own, even compared to the likes of a simple steel, it's more often used as a part of an alloy in armor and weaponry instead of the single material. Siegfried Karrotte's armor is partially made from avalicite that he looted from exalted corpses. He also makes use of bullets from the same material, which are extremely difficult to produce.
Pure Avalicite
Pure Avalicite is simply Avalicite but better in every single way save for physical sturdiness. Brittle when forged into armor, it however possesses a greater amount of magical resistance. Reserved for Exalted and important members of the Golden Inquisition due to difficulties in acquiring and processing this material. Unfamiliars would find the passive glow of the Avalicite to be sickening and imposing.
