Sommelier
The Oathsworns of Gluttony; seasoned Vampires, Sommeliers are spell blades of the hemomantic variety. With master over the blade and Gluttony's gifts, Sommeliers make for a frightening force to contend with. Any vampire could become a Sommelier, though it takes intense training and one must undergo several trials to even be considered the position. Most Sommeliers are vampires with advanced age, they tend to be either first generation vampires or elder vampires at least over 300 years old. Vampires are feared in most places of the world, Gluttony worship is often the most misunderstood and detested, despite this people still worship her as the oldest of the Fundamentals
Sommeliers are gluttons of knowledge, they are sent throughout the world and garner more knowledge and power for the good of the vampire clans. They also ensure that the masquerade and civility of vampires are kept, in order to maintain order within human societies.
Fat Vampires are a sign of respect and seniority, they would be as swift as any other vampire or even faster, burning through their reserves to use in dire times. Sommelier armor are anti-sun, they function to protect the vampire from being weakened by the sunlight.
Tenets
"Blood is thicker than water; family over everything else."
"Protect mortals against the Unfamiliars; tainted blood makes for a terrible supper."
Oathbreaking Acts
Feeding from an Unfamiliar or Corrupted.
Drinking too much lowborn or animal blood; a Sommelier must have a proper palate.
Abandoning family and clan.
Ruining another vampire's feeding grounds.
Tribulations
REFINED PALATE: Sommeliers as the name implies, constant seek better flavors and are quite selective with their meals. They must partake in noble blood or virgin blood in order to satisfy their cravings. A Sommelier that is denied a good meal would succumb to their inner hunger and turn aggressive.
LIVESTOCK KEEPER: Vampires have designated feeding spots, Vampire nobles demand not coin from their peasants but blood, Sommeliers are expected to collect and maintain the safety within these territories. However they are also sent to locations where vampires are not tolerated to maintain the underground vampire movement and prevent them from being discovered and hunted down.
