Manymade
The Manymade is a group of Knights and heretics who sing together in a harmonious choir, sharing the same body, identity, and mind. Each foe they defeat increases their strength, gradually transforming them into a centipede-like monstrosity. It serves as a living cocoon for the perfect being gestating within them. After sufficient bodies are assimilated they would birth what can only be described as a lesser Unity. Very few has attained complete metamorphosis and a successful birth.
They do not have access to the skills and spells of those they devoured, only their biomass and some of their memories. Being some kind of mobile cocoon of heresy, their armor is so dense it usually requires siege weaponry to penetrate. Their appendages formed from armor and flesh are strong enough to punch through conventional plate armor and in terms of raw strength, it is the strongest among the Unfamiliar Oathsworn
The Manymade are capable of reason and negotiations. They generally will pick their fights, choosing battles they could win. They also work extremely well in groups and can form a pack if there are enough around, probably from a blessing of their patron, there has never been any recorded cases of friendly fire amongst their ranks.
Oathbreaking Acts
- None, save for renouncing Unity or gaining individuality.
Tribulations
HERE I AM, HEAR ME SPEAK: The strongest ego will always try to persevere and push through the choir in order to assume control of the Manymade. The choir must maintain their harmony in order to function.
WE MUST MULTIPLY: The assimilated does not live forever, eventually the flesh will rot and die and they will be separated. The Manymade must keep absorbing others in order to persist.
LIFE IS BEAUTIFUL, BUT IT IS DIFFICULT: Miscarriage happens, and sometimes should they even complete their journey as a manymade, their spawn will still be born with defects.
Oddities
- They cannot consume people they did not slay themselves, only found mourning those that are lost, likely lamenting what they could not save.
- Though they could assimilate animals, most of them refuse, likely because a boar's cries does not harmonize with the rest of the choir.
- Never consuming children or babies, for they are lacking in memories and flesh, and would be a waste if assimilated before having the chance to develop.
