Immaculate

The Oathsworns of Pride. Seekers of perfection, the Immaculates wander the world and spread their radiance to the downtrodden. Immaculates are self-absorbed Knights of vanity and perfectionism. They must maintain excellent appearance at all costs. They stand proudly, embodying their patron Fundamental while carving their marks into the world. Both craftsmen and warriors, the Immaculates seek to learn from and surpass the finest in the lands, constantly seeking challenges and forging their bodies and skills into the zenith of humanity's potential. Immaculates can match Juggernauts in raw strength and oftentimes even surpass them.

They seek glory and renown, they want the bards to sing about their great deeds and their heroics forever carved into the memories of everyone around. As their name spreads, their strength, speed and durability seem to increase. Whether its effect is mere placebo or a blessing directly from Pride himself, the Immaculate always wish to live up to their own namesake. Pride Oathsworns value individuality, but they value their names more than their faces; a mask makes them a symbol larger than life.

Oathbreaking Acts

  • Accepting pity of any form; whether it be a noble offering a single coin, or a warrior that spared you, you are simply too weak.

  • Insulting another's hard work; Pride does not take kindly to those that brings others low to elevate themselves, everyone must have a chance to rise so that your own deeds are never shallow.

Tribulations

FAIR FIGHTS: Immaculates will always refuse ambushes or cowardly strategies, they will and must fight head on and fairly. In a duel, they will even arm the opponent or harm themselves to even the odds. They will also refuse aid of others if it means outnumbering the opponent. This strict code makes them quite susceptible to dastardly schemes.

NO WITNESSES: In order to spread their name they must have witnesses. Many Immaculates take squire for this very reason, and if there is nobody to boast and impress they might as well crumble.

FAILURE HURTS: Failing or disappointing others physically and mentally hurts the Immaculate. If they failed to live up to their boasts many could spend a few days out of commission to recover.
