Sapcoral

Studies have concluded that Sapcorals are not native to the Familiar Lands, and they are more akin to visitors from the great beyond. Sapcorals are found within craters or underground and they boast the ability to create a magical suppression field. They are used to create mage shackles as well as amulets that protect against spells. They are quite brittle, making them inefficient armor.

As part of her experimentation in the hands of a Temperance cult, there is sapcoral flowing in the veins of Benedita Dos Santos which causes her great discomfort. Another side effect is that she sheds black tears and her arms are dyed black.
