Humbler

The Oathsworn of Humility. Humblers maintain equilibrium in their domains by 'humbling' those who seek to elevate beyond their rightful place. When a noble acts out of line, they are willing to remove those individuals to preserve the existing order; this holds true for peasants who dare rise against their superiors. Humblers are the Oathsworn with the least amount of members due to the intense selection process. They undergo far more training to even be considered a devout. Enchanted hoods completely hides the face. With the ultimate act of humility is forgoing one's identity, to be invisible.

Humblers operate in large cities as silent agents to keep the peace. They simultaneously oppress the common people while granting them justice as well. They try to spread the idea of fear and maintaining Humility's agenda of a function civilization through terror. Unlike the Executors, Humblers are independent agents that does not directly serve the church of the Fundamentals, only their oath to Lady Humility. Strangely enough, a majority of Humblers are women.

Oathbreaking Acts

• Accepting coin to take a life; most Humblers have a part time gig for coin.

• Actively climbing the social ladder; they must remain humble themselves.

Tribulations

UMBRAL MAGICS: The unfortunate truth of Humbler's powers is that it is difficult to control and even harder to maintain. If a Humbler slips into the shadows for too long, they will be lost in Humility's realm forever.

DRUNK WITH POWER: One can easily overlook their oaths and descend into a state of intoxication with power. The gift of Humility is profound, and when someone inspires fear, they may begin to enjoy the sensation of dominance and control, making it easy to descend into a dark and self-serving path.
