Boberpig

Boberpigs are fat round mammals that could be found within the colder regions of the Familiar Lands. They are extremely adept at burrowing and have an excellent sense of smell. Very intelligent, they can be trained to perform a variety of tasks, and are frequently used in search and rescue operations following an avalanche or can even work as couriers if properly trained.

Frequently milked for bobermilk, a quite nutritious drink that warms the body, thus indispensable during colder winter days. The health and prosperity of a snow village can be determined by the amount of Boberpigs and Woolslugs in it. Their omnivorous diet can have them eat anything from Woolslug eggs to snowberries. It's also important to keep in mind that Boberpigs are to be paired with woolslugs, as they are the natural predator of Aphids.
