Captain Ahab

Background

Captain Ahab is the chosen of the Unfamiliar Deity, Hope. He acquired her blessings after a failed hunt of an allusive white whale killed everyone on his crew, everyone but him; obsession has turned this once proud sailor into something far worse. His prosthetic is a constant reminder of what that whale has taken away from him. He now rides with a new crew that is well known by those with dark seals. Ahab controls around 70% of the Qlipcoral market, and often gifts mages a small sample to get them hooked on the power it can provide. There is no one easier to manipulate than a mage on a power-high.

Powers

It's mostly unknown what is granted by Hope to her chosen, but what is known, is that much like her candidates, he has gained a second chance, after coming back from the dead, far stronger and with a potency in her domain that's twice as strong as her clerics. His strength is that above of a single chosen knight, and if unstopped, could take down entire nations, if he so desired.

Trivia
