Red Ambrosia

"The first taste is the sweetest, and the last one you will savor"

A seemingly malicious chalice always brimming with blood from an unknown source, the Red Ambrosia provides mortals who drink it with extended life. If a vampire drinks from the chalice, they will instead be gifted with more blessings from Gluttony, so long as they continue to drink. The Red Ambrosia is a test of control, and of satiation. The first sip is euphoric; it provides a sense of pleasure and taste that no mere man has ever felt before. Provided one has enough willpower to succumb to an endless loop of consumption, they must drink often in order to maintain Red Ambrosia's benefits.

There has been no one in history able to maintain the Red Ambrosia's blessings for more than a few centuries. There have been monarchs who have lived past their heirs, but eventually fall into a cannibalistic rage once the Red Ambrosia is missing for a moment, the taste of human flesh the only thing that comes even close to the taste of the sweet blood within.
