Deep Iron

Forged solely in Deep Dwarven Forges, where the extreme temperatures are lethal to most races, deep iron is the densest and hence the most resilient metal available. It boasts the greatest amount of physical and fire protection, but only the strongest warriors could wear armor made of this material due to its sheer weight. A cube of deep iron is the most meaningful gift a dwarf can bestow upon someone.

Tommy Tomata is equipped with full armor and a hammer made from deep iron. He could never ride a horse nor a wagon because of its weight and thus walks everywhere.
