Selistra and Selistro

Background

Orphans of war, Selistra and Selistro were found abandoned on a Nox settlement that was razed to the ground as retaliation for their misdeeds. Lord Lokust, one of the major combatants during the conflict, took pity and decided to adopt them into his ever increasing family, which he playfully refers to as his swarm. House Lokust is a unique house with mostly non-humans within their ranks. As such, many do not view the twins as proper nobles, and it suits them just fine.

Like those of their race, Selistra and Selistro grew up as mischievous troublemakers. This mindset has never left them, although Selistro became the sensible one of the pair. Also, much like every other pure-blooded nox, they share the curse of Humility's nightmares. The twins worship her, but have also built some tolerance to her curse due to their innate connection, that allows them to share the dread of their nightmares. They have done unreasonable and cruel actions due to a simple enjoyment of being mean.

They are ambitious to a fault, always seeking to surpass and replace Lord Lokust, a behavior he also encourages. Many attempts have been made to his life, though he has managed to thwart all of their evil schemes. Selistra is well known within the wealthy elite circles: she is extremely charismatic and always manages to get others to spoil her. Selistro is known more in the underworld, as a stern negotiator and representative of House Lokust. The twins particularly fear the Hunter Knight because of several incidents, and seeing him would immediately have them flee.

Powers

They are trained in the arts of sorcery as well as wielding agile weapons due to their nimbleness. This, combined with their talent for magics makes them quite formidable opponents. Although they are weak individually, together they become a force to be reckoned with. Elves generally do not wear heavy armor unless it is made with special lightweight metals, as they do not possess much physical strength.
